The correction concerned can be applied:

To the skin

WRINKLE REMOVAL – surface treatments are used such as BOTOX or HYALURONIC ACID INJECTIONS or SKIN PEELING.

SAGGING – generally corrected with a FACE LIFT.

On adipose tissue

In the case of LOCALISED EXCESS FAT, LIPOSUCTION (neck) or ablation of bags (beneath the eyes) can be helpful.

In the case of LOCALISED ATROPHY, re-injection using LIPOSTRUCTURE or injections of HYALURONIC ACID are indicated.

Where the facial skin SAGS due to migration of fatty pockets through ageing, a FACE LIFT will make it possible to reposition the fatty areas.

On the muscles

The superficial muscles of the face and neck may relax with age and this can be corrected with a FACE LIFT.

On the cartilage

Imperfect folds (resulting in PROMINENT EARS) or excess cartilage (at the tip of the nose) can be corrected.

On the bones

In cases of malformation (usually the nose) a reduction by means of RHINOPLASTY (a “nose job”) should be contemplated.
